Overview
The Information Arts and Information Design Practices , B.Des course from Manipal Academy of Higher Education students will seek to find unique forms of communication and curation. You will be challenged to grapple with complex and nuanced issues such as poverty and inequality, gender, culture and heritage, and the environment, and to use your skills to create work that has the power to inspire social change. As you train in the IAIDP program, you will be able to perceive and interpret information to communicate effectively and responsibly, poised to make a difference in the world through your creativity.

Courses include:
- Disciplinary Studios are learning spaces where students develop core disciplinary capabilities, while navigating a trans-disciplinary environment
- General Studies is a common and compulsory programme of study that integrates the Humanities, Sciences, Mathematics, Business, Finance, Development and Policy Studies, as well as offers Languages (Spanish, French and German)
- Interim is an immersive introduction to practice in new and emerging areas of art, design and environmental exposure
- Electives are of three kinds – this programme allows students to expand their skills, develop their interests, as well as provide opportunities for travel exchange

- State Board, CBSE, ISC, HSSCC, PUC, Junior College, Intermediate, Senior Secondary, National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) Senior Secondary, New Delhi with Pass in 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board / NSQF Certification Level 4 with a minimum 50% aggregate marks
International Boards
- A Levels – Minimum 3 subjects in the ‘A’ Levels and 5 Passes in the IGCSE / GCSE including English, Minimum requirement is an average of ‘D’ grade IB Diploma or IB Certificate with 3 subjects at HL and 3 subjects at SL with an overall minimum of 24 points High School Diploma (USA / CANADA) – Senior Secondary completed with equivalence as per AIU
