Overview
Dalhousie University ’s Public Sector Management programme provides you with a strong foundation in business and management, helping you develop the skills needed to organize and lead teams and respond to internal and external pressures. As a Public Sector Management major, you will build on this foundation by exploring how to create a good society and how to balance justice with order.
There is an optional 8-month paid internship available in the Bachelor of Management programme during your third year of study. The internship is designed to be a career investment used to build upon skills, professional experiences, and connections to enhance your employability after graduation.
You will be equipped with the management skills required by public service organizations and an understanding of the organization, processes and policies of the government, its public agencies and the policy groups that work in the public sector.
