Overview

The Incorporated Bachelor Stage One in Mental Health Nursing BSc from University of Dundee International College will prepare you to support them in their recovery. You will gain practical and cognitive skills and will leave the course as a competent and confident practitioner.

Key facts

You will learn to work in different settings, such as city hospitals, rural communities, and in people's own homes. You will spend 50% of your time learning on campus and the other 50% on placements in hospitals and community settings.

Your placements help you develop the hands-on skills needed to work in healthcare and you will be introduced to the practical elements of mental health nursing in our clinical skills centre.

Your Pathways

The IS1 is the first year of a four year International Incorporated Bachelors. And its designed to strengthen your English language abilities and introduce core concepts and knowledge required at university study level.

Once you have successfully completed your studies you will continue the remaining stages of your degree directly with the University of your choice.

Students at the International College may be considered for a number of Scholarships that are part of the University of Dundee Scholarship offerings, such as the Global Citizenship Scholarship which awards students up to £5,000 per year of study.

Another award is the ICD Progressing with Excellence Scholarship which recognises academic achievement while studying at the International College and awards up to £6,000 per year of study.
