On this Incorporated Bachelor Stage One in BDes (Hons) Jewellery and Metal Design from University of Dundee International College using novel materials and digital technologies, you will work to develop your own voice in an increasingly diverse conversation.

Key facts

The strong studio culture means that you will be able to share ideas in a supportive environment. You will develop pieces of jewellery and wearable objects by gaining a deep understanding of the design process, from visual research to concept development to finished outcome.

Technical skills form the basis of the course, but you will also learn to consider the historical, social, and aesthetic context of your creations through written assignments. We teach traditional jewellery making techniques as well as technologies such as CAD/CAM, microelectronics for wearables, novel materials and 3D printing.

Your Pathways

The IS1 is the first year of a four year International Incorporated Bachelors. And its designed to strengthen your English language abilities and introduce core concepts and knowledge required at university study level.

Once you have successfully completed your studies you will continue the remaining stages of your degree directly with the University of your choice.
