Key facts

Concept art will help and support your journey to master a range of industry-focused tools and techniques for developing pre-production, production and post-production art for the film and video game industries.

Comic art will help you develop a practical understanding of idea generation, visual storytelling, and visual communication. The two themes mean you will open the door to a wide range of creative experiences and opportunities.

Both are underpinned by contextual studies to inform and enhance your practice through an exploration of the historical, cultural, and social contexts of the wider world of print and web-based comic arts, graphic novels and visual communication.

Your Pathways

The International Year Zero is the first year of the four year undergraduate course. IYZ is designed to help you gain extra skills in your subject area, as well as English Language, before you continue to year one of your chosen University undergraduate degree course.

Following successful completion of the IYZ, you will continue onto Year One of your degree directly with the University of your choice.
