Overview

Students of the Agriculture (Integrated) (Hons) course from Maharishi Markandeshwar University (MMU) are trained to understand the ground issues of the agrarian community and skilled to address the issue through policy reforms or by innovating and implementing best practices. 

Students get full exposure to the impact of new techniques, trending agricultural practices, and efforts needed for agro-development. The vision is to create professionals to work for the up-gradation of agriculture and farmers.

• Gaining the ability to use techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools for the betterment of agri-sector

• Cultivating problem-solving skills to address the farmers’ issues and bottlenecks in food processing/management and marketing

• Creating awareness on relevant farm issues and bridging the communication gap between policymakers and farmers.
