The Biotechnology (Hons) programme from Maharishi Markandeshwar University (MMU) covers all major areas of modern life technologies including Cell & Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Virology, Plant & Animal tissue culture, Bioinformatics, DNA Technology and Fermentation Technology and their industrial applications.

Program empowers the conceptual and practical skills of biotechnology and introduces latest developments to meet UN’s SDGs. The program provides distinctive advantages to students as it finds applications in various aspects of life sciences.

Programme outcome

Students will be able to learn the classical and applied sciences for knowledge, skill development and its role in livelihood and mankind.
