Students enrolled in this program earn a Bachelor of Arts in Tourism Management.

The program’s purpose and objectives are:

• To provide students with a broad understanding of the planning session of events and be able to assign roles and responsibilities.

• To provide students with the necessary knowledge to prepare, create, and manage sustainable nature-based tourism using best practices.

• To provide a broad view of the values, methods, and techniques that can be used to navigate the international cruise tourism industry.

• To provide students with the skills needed to use the SABRE computerized reservation system.

• To equip students with the ability to identify the relationship of the tourism industry with the organizations’ stakeholders around it.

• To provide students with the knowledge and skills in organizing tours.

Potential Careers

American College graduates of this program have the opportunity to work in the following organizations and professions and/or continue their studies in a Master’s program in the field of Tourism Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, Human Resources Management, etc.:
