- An extensive and comprehensive professional and technical skills (and knowledge) needed to qualify as design thinker and competent professional practicing architect across different scales, scopes and tasks (problem solving, form making, planning, etc.).
- An extensive and comprehensive knowledge and information (analytical and critical, basic and advanced) that would represent the theoretical grounding and foundation for the solid understanding and production of architecture (provided that the above knowledge is properly positioned and framed within broader historical geopolitical and cultural context).
- The basic and necessary knowledge and skills relevant to structural, constructional and environmental design, with a special focus on sensible practices relating to sustainability, public safety, and welfare.

The Admissions Committee at PU will conduct a comprehensive review of each application, considering the following factors:
- Official transcripts for grades 10 and 11
- PU Undergraduate Major Placement Test(s) results, required for each specific major applied for
- English Language Placement Test results
- Lebanese Baccalaureate official exam results or its recognized equivalent by the Lebanese Ministry of Education and Higher Education
- Official scores for internationally recognized English language proficiency examinations (IELTS, TOEFL, SAT, or Duolingo), if taken. Alternatively, you can opt to sit for the PU Undergraduate English Language Placement Test
