Overview

Criminology programme at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore that explores crime, criminal behaviour, and how justice systems respond to social challenges. This programme is part of the Laurea Triennale in Sociologia and is the only undergraduate criminology programme in English currently offered in continental Europe.

Learning objectives

You will study why crimes happen, how societies respond, and which policies help prevent or reduce criminal activity. The curriculum is both theoretical and practical, giving you a wide lens on criminal justice systems, crime prevention strategies, and the use of technology in crime analysis from local and international perspectives.

You must finish high school and get your Secondary School Diploma by August 30.

You need to have at least 12 years of education. The last 2 years must be in the school system of the same country.

If you have only 11 years of education, you can still apply if you meet one of these conditions:

You completed at least one year of university studies and passed all the required exams. You can’t transfer any credits from these studies.

You finished a recognized Foundation Course at an Italian university. Foundation courses from non-Italian universities will be evaluated case by case.
