The first year of this course will be delivered to all Year 1 Construction Management, Building Surveying and Architectural Technology students. At the end of first year students can request to transfer to the Architectural Technology or Construction Management course.

It also benefits from a formal work preparation and placement module in stage 3, ensuring that students develop key technical and interpersonal skills and foster commercial awareness before completing the course. Building Surveyors are qualified to design and oversee the construction of new buildings. They specialise in the sustainable management, maintenance, and upgrade of existing buildings.
