Dental Hygienists are primary healthcare professionals who perform dental health education activities and take part in primary prevention projects within the public health system.
The Dental Hygiene programme prepares students to become dental hygienists who provide patient-centered care to diverse patient populations in a variety of health care settings.
At the end of the Dental Hygiene course at University of Parma the graduated students will be able to assess a patient's condition and to offer patient-specific preventive and educational services to promote and maintain good oral and general health.
