The Statistics and Data Science programme is offered by University of Pretoria.

This programme also enhances students’ understating of statistics which is a vital part of modern life and business and is used daily to make sense of the world around us. For example, it helps them to understand how social media platforms personalise content and suggestions for different people. This programme is presented jointly with UP Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences.

A limited number of students will be admitted collectively over all honours programmes in the Department of Statistics.

Performance during prior studies will be considered in selecting students. Specific attention will be given to modules repeated and duration of study.
