The Electrical Power Engineering program from offered at Kazakh Agro-Technical Research University (KATRU) will help you:

Apply skills to improve performance, develop and implement promising areas of intellectual, cultural, physical self-development and self-improvement, determine the most effective areas of application of their abilities, contribute to the development of society.
Apply the formed competencies in the field of economics and law, the basics of anti-corruption culture, ecology and life safety, as well as entrepreneurship skills in solving professional tasks.
Calculate the circuits and elements of the main equipment, use technical means to measure the main parameters of electric power facilities, install electric power and electrical equipment.
Calculate the operating modes of electric power plants, check the operating modes of equipment of electric power facilities, perform tests, installation and repair of electric power and electrical equipment.
Integrate basic physical and mathematical, natural science knowledge in an interdisciplinary context during installation and maintenance work and professional activities in production.
To demonstrate theoretical and practical knowledge for solving professional problems in the field of electric power; to apply the basics and methods of scientific research and academic writing in the field under study; to analyze the values of the principles and culture of academic integrity.
