Learning Outcomes

The Business Informatics program from Kazakh Agro-Technical Research University (KATRU) will help you:

Have an idea of the principles of analyzing and processing large amounts of data, how to present and store them.
Understand the main tasks and methods of data mining, including machine learning, neural networks, optimization theory, artificial intelligence; the possibilities of modern and promising software development tools, hardware.
Apply encryption algorithms, operating system protection methods, principles of authentication, authorization and access control, methods of detecting and preventing attacks, including protection against malicious software and network attacks.
Demonstrate knowledge of blockchain architecture, principles of neural interfaces. Have the skills to develop VR/AR applications, deploy smart contracts and design brain-computer interfaces.
Logically correct, reasoned and clear build oral and written speech in the native / foreign language in the relevant range of social and cultural contexts.
Understand the architecture of the computer, the principles of computer systems. To know operating systems, their functions, principles of operation, rules of software installation and system administration; to analyze the performance and effectiveness of programs.
Apply basic information processing algorithms to solving applied problems, evaluate the complexity of algorithms, create programs in programming languages, debug and test programs.
