The Agroeconomics program offered at  Kazakh Agro-Technical Research University (KATRU) will help you:

• Possess knowledge and skills in organizing scientific research, collecting and analyzing scientific data, testing hypotheses, and critical thinking. Understand aspects of research ethics and have the ability to effectively present research results.
• Demonstrate an understanding of ethical principles in business, identify and solve ethical problems, issues related to the implementation of compliance programs, promote an anti-corruption culture and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in the organization.
• Apply the acquired knowledge about the principles of functioning of economic systems at various levels of the economy, understand the peculiarities of individual and aggregate economic behavior, agricultural policy and dynamics of agricultural processes, issues of economic development, international interactions, as well as the analysis of the activities of enterprises in the economy.
• Understand and be able to solve issues of managing organizations, optimizing production processes in agribusiness, implementing entrepreneurial initiatives, creating business models, analyzing strategic decision-making using game theory, assessing the value of business and the intricacies of international business transactions.
