The Digital Arts (Honours) programme offered at University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg will introduce you to the key debates in current theory together with practice courses in your chosen field. General requirements

Previous Degree: NQF level 7
Marks Transcript from Previous Degree: Marks 65 % or above and very good practice portfolio allowing for marks in theory at 60% or above.
Creative Portfolio & CV:
a. Evidence of previous degree or experience (in a CV) in Animation, Interactivity, Game Design or Interactive Writing.
b. Portfolio of creative work reflecting practice in Animation, Interactivity, Game Design or Interactive Writing.
Applicants who have extensive industry experience and may not have the pre-request entry degree qualification, or who's degree's were completed a long time ago, can apply for RPL but with the following additional entry requirements:
RPL applications can only be done in consultation with the Digital Arts Dept. please email the Dept. to confirm an RPL application.
Applicant should be 26 years old or over.
Requires a bridging year with the following courses (both 65% and above):
a. Digital Art Theory 4
b. FVPA 3
