Overview
Designed for high school graduates entering the world of hospitality, the BBA in Global Hospitality Management is a three-and-a-half year programme taught by AIHM in academic association with Les Roches. The curriculum is rigorous, internationally recognised, and built to develop both the practical skills and the management mindset that today's hospitality industry demands.
The journey begins with a full semester of Practical Arts, where students learn the art of hotel operations first-hand: front office, rooms division, food and beverage service, concierge, housekeeping, mixology and more. From there, students progress through four management semesters covering marketing, finance, revenue management, sustainability, leadership, strategy and business, punctuated by two six-month internships at luxury hotels in Thailand or abroad. Past students have interned at Anantara, Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental, Marriott, Rosewood, Shangri-La and many more, in destinations ranging from Bangkok and the Maldives to Dubai and Europe.
Throughout the programme, students also work on Integrated Hospitality Projects, applying their knowledge to real-world briefs for actual clients. By graduation, they have not just studied hospitality, they have lived it.
For those with global ambitions, qualified students may transfer to Les Roches in Switzerland or Spain for their final year, graduating with a Les Roches degree and a truly international education.
Graduates leave with preferred employment status at Minor Hotels, access to a network of nearly 80,000 professionals, and a 94% job placement rate. Two intakes per year: April and October.
