Overview

The Industrial Engineering degree from Antalya Bilim University models problems within a system, develops solutions over these models, analyses these solutions in order to generate conclusive reports that are then used in managerial decisions.

This process will be beneficial to the system and/or company that the industrial engineer is a part of and will make the industrial engineer an invaluable asset. Industrial engineers perform problem definition, solution generation and decision support for engineering problems on areas that are as diverse as; information technologies, consulting, education, telecommunication, energy, healthcare, tourism, logistics, banking and finance.

Learning Outcomes

Using modeling, optimization, stochastic models and statistical approaches from industrial engineering tools, identify, analyze and develop solution proposals for problems that arise in complex production and service systems.

Design innovative and analytical solution strategies for problems encountered in integrated production and service systems that bring together components such as human resources, materials, information, equipment and energy.

Implement and test developed solution strategies in a computer environment with advanced computational methods and experimental tools in order to support decision support processes.
