Overview

At Economics and Business Administration, you gain theoretical and practical knowledge about companies and their activities. You learn how to identify specific problems in a company and make suggestions on how to solve problems. You also learn to assess how management decisions can affect e.g. the company's finances, employees and partners.

At Economics and Business Administration, you work with all the central tasks in a company that are important for the company's competitiveness. The programme enables you to help companies optimize business processes, analyze key financial figures, handle and manage organizational changes, and develop strategies to enable a company to grow and be competitive. You acquire unique skills to make a difference in the business world.   

In the programme, you learn to manage complex, internal and external processes that can help small and medium-sized companies as well as large global corporations increase their competitiveness. 

You should choose Economics and Business Administration if you want to learn how to help companies across various industries in the business community create value financially, strategically, economically and organizationally.

You gain knowledge about e.g. organization, management, marketing, management accounting, financing, innovation, entrepreneurship and business models.

Job and career

With a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business Administration, you can work in private companies in commerce, industry and services, or in the public sector. You can also start your own business. Your work may include budgeting and follow-up, preparing accounting statements, being responsible for market analyses and strategies, and handling sales and marketing tasks.
