Overview

The Medicine and Surgery (Bolzano) programme from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore is based on an innovative curriculum that provides from the first years a strong integration between the basic sciences and the clinical sciences, as well as an in-depth approach to human sciences and bioethics - necessary to develop an effective doctor-patient relationship.

This will enable students to gain practical experience at the Central Hospital in Bolzano as well as in the other hospitals belonging to the Hospital Network in the South Tyrol Region. What makes the programme unique in the national scenario is also the teaching of Italian and German, which will enable students to communicate easily with medical staff and patients.

To apply for an undergraduate degree, you must:
Obtain your high school diploma by August 30, year of start. For Medicine and Surgery: obtain your high school diploma by the enrolment deadline established in the programme “Admission Guidelines”.
Have at least 12 years of total education. If you studied in a non-EU education system, your final 2 years of secondary school must be completed within the same national system.
