- hold an approved qualification* from an Australian TAFE or Registered Training Organisation; or
- hold an AQF Level 5 Diploma of Military Leadership DEF51512 or Diploma of Leadership DEF51115 or other recognised Australian Defence Force approved relevant Diploma, plus completion of the Australian Defence Force Army All-Corps Captain or Sergeant or Warrant Officer or Chief Petty Officer course, plus at least four years Australian Defence Force work experience; or
