Overview

The College of Medicine was established in 1988 with the opening of Asan Medical Center in Seoul, which had the goal to create a "World-class hospital and university with education and research". By providing a strong pre-medicine foundation, the Medicine program at University of Ulsan, allows students to have broad learning and research opportunities, to take courses, and conduct research with an excellent faculty.

Aims of Education

Cultivation of character and civility through the modeling of honesty, integrity, caring, compassion, fairness, respect, and ethical behavior
To cultivate physicians with professional competency, systematic use of the medical process, leadership, clinical judgment, and lifelong learning leading to ethical, safe, and quality patient care

Applicants should satisfy the following condition.

An applicant with non-Korean nationality and both of their parents having non-Korean nationality
High school graduates (or expected graduates) in Korea or overseas must hold or expect to have high school qualifications. As a minimum, an applicant must have a qualification considered to be equivalent to a Year 12 qualification (completion of high school) in Korea.
