About

New types of industries that arise from the convergence of contents and service areas are in demand of digital contents experts with diverse capabilities.

This is a newly started design field that combines industrial design, visual design, humanities, management, and information science In accordance with the demands of IT field. It is a new design area that designs and develops digital contents needed for smartphones, mobile devices, PCs, and smart cable TVs: video animation, advertising, product sales, communication, augmented reality, entertainment, and information retrieval methods.

The Digital Contents Design program at University of Ulsan consists of design planning, interactive media, web content design, and virtual simulation design.

Aims of Education

Aims to acquire standard manufacturing processes and skills in IT design
Emphasizes on developing design problem solving skills by acquiring a solid understanding of digital contents design

To possess the insight to develop user-centered thinking in planning and producing digital contents

To cultivate pioneer digital contents design experts who can present a new trend in the rapidly changing media and entertainment industry

An applicant with non-Korean nationality and both of their parents having non-Korean nationality
High school graduates(or expected graduates) in Korea or overseas must hold or expect to have high school qualifications. As a minimum, an applicant must have a qualification considered to be equivalent to a Year 12 qualification (completion of high school) in Korea.
