About
The Chemical Engineering program at University of Ulsan is in the spotlight as an area that will play a leading role in future core industries through convergence with new materials, biotechnology, energy and environmental technologies as well as existing oil refining, petrochemicals and precision chemistry.
Major students are widely preferred in business, research institutes, and academia as they are educated in various knowledge of mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology in the curriculum.
Aims of Education
- Develop human resources who have the ability to understand and analyze engineering problems and adapt to the field by acquiring basic knowledge on chemical engineering.
- Train advanced technical personnel with knowledge of development, design, operation, control and optimization of chemical engineering process.
- Cultivate learning ability to steadily acquire the latest knowledge of chemical engineering and to apply in practice.
- Develop chemical engineering technicians with sense of ethics, responsibility and an attitude of being able to cooperate with a partner.

Applicants should satisfy the following condition.
- An applicant with non-Korean nationality and both of their parents having non-Korean nationality
- High school graduates(or expected graduates) in Korea or overseas must hold or expect to have high school qualifications. As a minimum, an applicant must have a qualification considered to be equivalent to a Year 12 qualification (completion of high school) in Korea.
