The IT Convergence program at University of Ulsan operates 3 specialized programs (SW system, Internet of Things (IoT), and AI/Bigdata) along with overall courses on computer science and computer engineering.

The future of the major in IT Convergence is expected to be very bright as the importance of high-quality software personnel is being emphasized more than ever during the 4th Industrial Revolution.

Aims of Education

The program is aiming at fostering students who can actively carry out IT convergence in various fields with solid skills and knowledge in the future. It also aims to provide the understanding of the establishment of IT including software, Internet of Things, Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, etc. and to cultivate IT professionals leading the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution with problem-solving skills by proactively responding to rapidly changing IT industry.

An applicant with non-Korean nationality and both of their parents having non-Korean nationality
High school graduates(or expected graduates) in Korea or overseas must hold or expect to have high school qualifications. As a minimum, an applicant must have a qualification considered to be equivalent to a Year 12 qualification (completion of high school) in Korea.
