Overview

The Medical Engineering program at University of Ulsan focuses on research and development of engineering technology for human diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation are major fields of biomedical engineering, including various medical devices for diagnosis and treatment, brain-computer interface, artificial heart, artificial hearing and visual equipment, advanced medical imaging equipment, rehabilitation equipment, and health information technology.

Aims of Education

The Medical Engineering program at University of Ulsan aim to train people in research and development of biomedical engineering by combining the knowledge of engineering and medical science. It also aims to foster creative talents who can develop medical devices and services for healthier life. The program is training experts of medical device for industries, hospitals, institutions and government agencies.

An applicant with non-Korean nationality and both of their parents having non-Korean nationality
High school graduates(or expected graduates) in Korea or overseas must hold or expect to have high school qualifications. As a minimum, an applicant must have a qualification considered to be equivalent to a Year 12 qualification (completion of high school) in Korea.
