Aims of Education

During the Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering program at University of Ulsan students will meet distinguished professors that will provide theoretical aspects (from full-time professors) and practical aspects (from industrial-intensive professors).

The School has excellent experimental facilities including a Square Tank, a Wind-water Tunnel, a variety of equipment for structural and vibrational experiments as well as extensive computing facilities.

Students will have opportunities to join strong Internship programs with world class shipbuilding companies. NAOE supports students to study abroad. NAOE has its own English language labs and conversation classes by native speakers are held during the semesters..

Applicants should satisfy the following condition.

An applicant with non-Korean nationality and both of their parents having non-Korean nationality
High school graduates(or expected graduates) in Korea or overseas must hold or expect to have high school qualifications. As a minimum, an applicant must have a qualification considered to be equivalent to a Year 12 qualification (completion of high school) in Korea.
