Overview
Aerospace engineering can be divided into aerodynamics, structural mechanics, propulsion mechanics, aerodynamics and control. The aerospace industry of the future, such as drones, satellites, and projectiles, will be the backbone of transportation, communications, and transportation.
Aims of Education
The Aerospace Engineering program at University of Ulsan is based on basic engineering education, integrated major education, and on-site practical training to train competent technical personnel capable of designing, developing, and producing aircraft.
It aims to cultivate basic knowledge and comprehensive problem-solving skills in majors, to cultivate the ability to adapt to field practice and to cultivate basic skills needed as a professional engineer
Future Career
Graduates of our major prefer to work for aerospace companies such as
- Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) or
- Korean Air. However
Many graduates often make inroads with machinery companies such as
- Hyundai Motor
- Hyundai Heavy Industries Co.
You can get through to
- aerospace research and production
- aircraft maintenance and service, and you can also get a job in general machinery and parts companies.

Applicants should satisfy the following condition.
- An applicant with non-Korean nationality and both of their parents having non-Korean nationality
- High school graduates(or expected graduates) in Korea or overseas must hold or expect to have high school qualifications. As a minimum, an applicant must have a qualification considered to be equivalent to a Year 12 qualification (completion of high school) in Korea.
