Overview

The pure mathematics track of the Mathematics program at University of Ulsan consists of core and in-depth subjects, algebra, analysis, geometry, and topology which can help students become a math teacher and a math expert centred on professional research activities.

The Applied mathematics track offers courses such as industrial mathematics, mathematical statistics, advanced mathematical computation, actuarial mathematics, special lectures on applied mathematics, and capstone design.

Aims of Education

To cultivate math researchers and specialized intellectuals who can utilize the knowledge of mathematics with mathematics knowledge and statistical techniques

An applicant with non-Korean nationality and both of their parents having non-Korean nationality
High school graduates(or expected graduates) in Korea or overseas must hold or expect to have high school qualifications. As a minimum, an applicant must have a qualification considered to be equivalent to a Year 12 qualification (completion of high school) in Korea.
