Overview

The faculty includes full-time professors, visiting professors, and various working-level professors in the community who majored in police, law, and criminology.

The Police Science program at University of Ulsan currently runs a field practice program jointly with Ulsan Nambu Police Station. This program provides students an opportunity to experience crime environments surrounding local communities. Overall classes and programs are prepared to enhance theoretical knowledge and practical skills of students.

Aims of Education

The program provides intensive and systematic education on basic theories and practical knowledge of police science, law, and administration. It aims to foster police professionals who will protect the lives and property of the people and maintain public well-being and order.

Another aim is to offer a comprehensive understanding of society as a whole and diverse knowledge of administration by acquisition of practical skills and to cultivate competent police officers and local government officials with expertise, and social leaders with creativity to contribute to the growth of the region and the country

An applicant with non-Korean nationality and both of their parents having non-Korean nationality
High school graduates(or expected graduates) in Korea or overseas must hold or expect to have high school qualifications. As a minimum, an applicant must have a qualification considered to be equivalent to a Year 12 qualification (completion of high school) in Korea.
