Along with being an official language of countless international organizations, Spanish is the official language of 21 countries, including Spain and most of Latin America. The faculty of the Spanish and Latin American Studies departments are active experts in the field of Spanish literature, Spanish education as a second language, cultural studies and Latin American Studies.
