Overview
The Chinese Language and Literature program at University of Ulsan was established in 1985. This major offers students the opportunity to discover and explore China's literature and linguistics.
Through active exchange student programs and internship programs, students majoring in Chinese Language and Literature are able to enhance their learning and gain a deeper understanding of Chinese culture in person.
Excellent knowledge of a foreign language and an informed appreciation of a foreign literature open doors to many professions.
Aims of Education
- Aims to offer a well-rounded education of China, ultimately enabling students to master the necessary language and critical understanding skills that will prepare student's future careers
- To have a deeper sense of connection with Chinese culture and increased communication skills, both in oral and written forms of Chinese
- To analyze the meaning of complicated texts and synthesize abstract or theoretical information from multiple sources in Chinese

Applicants should satisfy the following condition.
- An applicant with non-Korean nationality and both of their parents having non-Korean nationality
- High school graduates(or expected graduates) in Korea or overseas must hold or expect to have high school qualifications. As a minimum, an applicant must have a qualification considered to be equivalent to a Year 12 qualification (completion of high school) in Korea.
