Overview
The major in Japanese Language and area studies was established in 1981. The curriculum includes interdisciplinary courses on relations between literature and other areas of study such as history, culture, economy, politics, and the society.
Through a well-formed curriculum covering language, literature, culture, politics, and history, students can be equipped with a broader view of not only Japan but also the world.
The Japanese Language and Area Studies program at University of Ulsan provides exchange programs which include attractive scholarship packages with several Japanese universities located in cities such as Tokyo, Fukuoka, and Shimane.
