Overview

The Korean Language and Literature for International Students program at University of Ulsan offers students the opportunity to discover and explore Korea's literature and linguistics. Based on this, the department of Korean Language and Literature fosters international talents with writing and self-expression skills, as well as cultivating the ability to appreciate and criticize the literature of the past and the present.

Aims of Education

The Korean Language and Literature for International Students program aims:

To enable students to achieve advanced-level proficiency and gain linguistic understanding of Korean as a second-language through well-formed lectures

and allows students to explore all periods and genres of literature in Korean as well as a wide variety of critical approaches.

Applicants should satisfy the following condition.

An applicant with non-Korean nationality and both of their parents having non-Korean nationality
High school graduates(or expected graduates) in Korea or overseas must hold or expect to have high school qualifications. As a minimum, an applicant must have a qualification considered to be equivalent to a Year 12 qualification (completion of high school) in Korea.
