The Korean Language and Literature program at University of Ulsan was established in 1981. University of Ulsan offers students the opportunity to discover and explore Korea's literature and linguistics, beginning from Korea’s earliest times up to the twenty-first century.

Aims of Education

The Korean Language and Literature program at University of Ulsan aims:

To cultivate talents while systematically analyzing and interpreting various materials in their own language and literature
To cultivate an in-depth understanding of native Korean language and literature which serve as the foundation for a native Koreans understanding of the world
To establish independent and future-oriented thinking based on the study of Korean Language and Literature

An applicant with non-Korean nationality and both of their parents having non-Korean nationality
High school graduates(or expected graduates) in Korea or overseas must hold or expect to have high school qualifications. As a minimum, an applicant must have a qualification considered to be equivalent to a Year 12 qualification (completion of high school) in Korea.
