Honours is very different from earlier undergraduate years, allowing and requiring a greater degree of independence and flexibility that will help you develop the maturity and skills for transition to employment in a range of occupations and industries or graduate research.

The Biomedicine (Honours) program at University of Melbourne offers 20 programs across a range of biomedical and health sciences disciplines. If you are interested in developing your own piece of original research via a Higher Research Degree or entering the health professions such as doctors, dentists and clinical psychologists, the Honours program is an ideal pathway.

Honours in Biomedical and Health Sciences provides you with opportunities to engage in significant research and work closely with international recognised leaders in their field of research as you pursue your own novel research, which can prepare you for graduate research and employment and improve your chance to enter into other graduate courses.
