Ever thought about what causes thunderstorms and cyclones, what’s really happening to the ozone layer, or how our climate will change in the future?
Our climate and weather systems influence a lot more than what you decide to wear each morning. In fact, ongoing changes to our climate and weather will greatly challenge how – and where – we live in the future.
During the Science - Climate and Weather program at University of Melbourne, you will learn about atmospheric and oceanic theory, the science of climate change, climate modelling and weather forecasting, and the roles of wind and ocean current systems. You will build your skills in a range of areas, including data analysis, computer modelling, and critical evaluation.
