At its core, genetics is the study of the variation between living things – humans, animals and plants – and how this is inherited.

The Biomedicine - Genetics program at University of Melbourne includes studies in molecular genetics, human genetics, evolutionary genetics and genomics – key foundational knowledge for studies in the fields of biology, biomedical sciences, biotechnology, ecology and conservation.
