The growing significance of Geography in the UAE was recognized on January 4, 2010, with the formation of the UAE Geographical Society. As the only tertiary institution in the UAE offering geography degrees, our Department has taken a leading role in promoting the discipline, with several faculty elected to offices in the society. General requirements

Final (Direct) Admission to the College:

A minimum score of (900) in EmSAT Mathematics, or the equivalent mathematics readiness tests including:
- For the American system or its equivalent: Advanced Placement (AP) with a minimum score of (3).
- For the British system or its equivalent: General Certificate of Education (GCE) with a minimum score of (C).
- International Baccalaureate (IB-High Level Exam) with a minimum score of (5).
- Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) with a minimum score of (590).
- Passing the bridging (prerequisite) course.
- International Baccalaureate (IB-High Level Exam) with a minimum score of (5).
