Overview
The goal of the Biodiversity and Conservation with Honours programme at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia is to produce students who are knowledgeable about genetics, species and ecosystem diversity – from individual organism to its natural habitat.
Graduates who are able to apply holistic and well-rounded approach in identifying and addressing local and global issues and concerns pertaining to biodiversity and conservation; equipped with fundamental theories and practical knowledge to pursue advancement of their careers in the future; as well as ethically, morally and professionally committed to contribute to the sustainable development of society.

The Biodiversity and Conservation with Honours programme prepares graduates to be:

- promoting and valuing its importance through local and global platforms
- Renowned professionals / entrepreneurs who participate with various stakeholders by adopting highest ethical and professional standard in valuing biodiversity.
- Competent and innovative in providing sustainable solutions to fulfill the needs of the nation in managing natural resources.

General requirements
- At least three (3) principal passes in the General Certificate of Education ‘Advancedlevel’ (GCE) ‘A’ Level Examination (UK Educational System) obtained in one sitting.
- International Baccalaureate (IB) with a minimum of six (6) subjects obtained in onesitting.
- A Diploma or any other Equivalent Qualification recognized by the Government of Malaysia and approved by the Senate of the University.
- Any other qualifications that are recognized by the Senate of the University as equivalent .
