Overview
The Saskatchewan Collaborative Bachelor of Science in Nursing programme from Saskatchewan Polytechnic includes eight terms of course work. The programme is designed as a cohort model programme with full-time study.
Completion Options
- There are three exit options for students enrolled in the SCBScN programme. Applications for the early exits (December and August) are completed after a student is accepted to the programme and meets the early exit requirements.
- Students interested in pursuing the August Exit option or the December Exit option are required to apply. Applications for these completion options are made available to students in December each year. Further details and information sessions are posted to the SCBScN Student Portal for current students.

- The SCBScN programme is accredited by the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing (CASN). This means that your nursing programme meets national standards of excellence in nursing education.

General requirements
Applicants who are currently enrolled in high school will have their competitive admission average calculated according to the University of Regina’s Early Conditional Admission requirements:
- One course in English or French Language Arts (grade 11 or 12)
- One academic Math (grade 11 or 12)
- One course from category A below (grade 11 or 12)
- One course from category B below (grade 11 or 12)
- One additional course from category A or B below (grade 11 or 12)
Internationally educated nurses may be eligible for the four-year or After Degree Nursing Program depending on the institution previously attended.
Internationally educated nurses are not eligible for the Upper Year admission route. However, if an applicant has completed a practical or psychiatric nursing diploma from an approved institution they may be eligible for this option.Student Insurance via Studyportals Partner
