Overview

The 5-year Architectural Design program from Kookmin University focuses on the design-based education centered around the studio.

The School implemented the program for the first time in Korea in 1994. For balanced architectural education, the courses are categorized in four groups - critical thinking / design / technology / practice, and organized closely with each phase of the design studio.

Multiple Major

Students who apply for multiple majors must register and fulfill at least the minimum number of credits of professional electives (including required courses) Students with multiple majors are not required to earn S-TEAM Class and/or Seminar in Special Topics.

Field Practice

The course may be credited as professional elective or general elective depending upon the School’s regulation
