Overview

The Scientific potential of the faculty is mainly concentrated in two research institutes – “System technology” and “Information process”. The scientists of these institutes do fruitful fundamental and applied research in computer science and information technology.

The Computer Engineering programme is offered by National Technical University of Ukraine: Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.

The faculty created and successfully operate schools of professors V.I. Kostyuk, K.G. Samofalov, G.M. Lutsky, A.A. Pavlov, which produced dozens of doctors of technical sciences and hundreds of technical sciences Ph.D. in Ukraine and abroad. The faculty is actively engaged in scientific and educational work with various institutes of the NAS of Ukraine.

Science

A large capacity of scientific disciplines of all faculty specialties and high-quality education contribute to the fact that more than 30% of students of the 5th year are studying at the master’s degree at the departments and branch departments in the Institute of Cybernetics named after V. N. Glushkov NAS of Ukraine.
