The Innovative Global Program from Shibaura Institute of Technology introduces students to laboratory research from the first year, and provides an environment that enables students to pursue cutting-edge research under the guidance of a supervisor, advisers, and graduate students.

When students are already active researchers, they can approach each classroom subject more actively, ready to integrate and apply everything they learn.

Each student’s course of study is uniquely customized, but the general flow of study is presented below.

Key Features

Students aim to present their own research results at an International Conference at least once during their studies. For the Graduation Thesis Program, from third year, they form their own team, plan and conduct research, confirm their results with experts inside and outside their field, and disseminate their results to society by presenting their research at international conferences.

A person has completed a school course of an overseas educational institution corresponding to an upper secondary school (less than 12 years) ＋has completed a designated preparatory education course
