Key Facts
Our Accounting and Banking (Hons) Programme from the Faculty of Business at Chu Hai College of Higher Education is unique in combining accounting with banking. In the field of accounting, the Programme is recognized by international professional bodies such as the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA), the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Association of International Accountants (AIA) . The curriculum is designed to ensure that students acquire the core knowledge and skills required for a professional accounting designation. In the field of banking, the curriculum is structured to help students develop knowledge and competencies needed in the banking industry. We believe good knowledge of accounting will make better banking executives.
To develop students’ lifelong learning skills and employability, the Faculty of Business provides students with internship placement opportunities at local CPA firms, banks and government departments, and exchange opportunities at overseas partner institutions. Upon completion of the Programme, students will be well equipped to pursue a wide range of careers in the fields of accounting and banking.
