Key facts
In the first two years of the Bachelor of Creativity (Performing Arts) from Wellington Institute of Technology you'll develop a strong base in Māori, Samoa, Cook Islands and New Zealand contemporary dance performance, and build strengths in technique, performance and choreography. In the third year, you build on the knowledge they have acquired to create and perform an original body of work.
You'll do core courses as well as the following topics:
- Samoa dance performance

- Costuming for performance

- To enrol in this programme you must have completed the level 5 and 6 Diploma in Creativity level 6 Diploma in Dance, Drama or Musical Theatre or have evidence of prior learning.
- Proven equivalence to domestic entry requirements and IELTS 6.0 (no band lower than 5.5)
