General requirements
You must be:
- 17 years of age or over.
For domestic applicants under 20 years old:
- University Entrance as per New Zealand Qualification Authority specifications (highly recommended that one approved subject be science or a related discipline) OR
- Evidence of recent (within 5 years) study at Level 4 or higher on the NZQF. Applicants who have completed an approved foundation, bridging or tertiary introductory course/programme in Health at Level 4, with 60% or higher in all modules will be considered for admission to the Bachelor of Nursing.
For applicants 20 years old and over:
- Demonstrated academic ability (at NZQA Level 4 or equivalent, within the last 5 years) to undertake the undergraduate nursing degree and have the ability to succeed through personal attributes, work and life experience.
