Course

• The Bachelor of Science degree in International Business Management provided at the Haute école de gestion de Genève at University of Applied Sciences and Arts Western Switzerland, is strongly centered on the practical aspects of management in an international context, and taught entirely in English.

• This professional program includes the study of fundamental business management topics (Management, Leadership, Political economy, Marketing, Human resources management, Communication, Law, International accounting or Finance), while exploring the international dimensions of these subjects.

• A particular emphasis is put on the challenges of dealing with the various business stakeholders in a multinational and multicultural context, while keeping a global perspective of the business world. Leadership courses forge the skills which are essential to enable graduates to grow and adapt in a world in constant evolution.

• The main teaching objectives of the program are to allow the students to acquire sound management and business administration skills, along with a good foundation in the areas of economics and law, from an international perspective.

• Graduates will be capable of fostering innovation, managing risks, and implementing projects with an international dimension. They will incorporate this international dimension in their daily management activities.

• Elective courses in international subjects are offered in the final year; the emphasis is on such fields as commodity trading, emerging markets, business decision and data analysis, innovation and technology, corporate finance and risk management, international organizations, and various aspects of marketing and consumer science.
