Overview

The Accounting with Finance (Hons) programme at American College of Greece targets students wishing to pursue professional career in Accounting while also preparing them for graduate study in the areas of Accounting, Finance, Economics, and Business Management.

The programme is also appropriate for graduates and professionals looking to enhance and update their quantitative and qualitative skills in financial analysis and cost management and expand their professional horizons either as tax and internal control consultants or financial managers in international or local corporations.

What You Will Study

Courses examine the application of accounting theory and practice and cover the areas of financial reporting and analysis, cost management and performance evaluation, taxation, auditing and forensic accounting as well as those of corporate finance, financial and cost modeling.

In addition, topics that relate to business organization and planning, professional communication, business law and ethics will be studied. Students will also have the opportunity to apply their knowledge in real business settings.

Career

Upon graduation, students will have gained a strong understanding of the relevant accounting theory and practice. They will be prepared to advance their academic studies at the graduate level, work as accountants or controllers within the accounting and finance departments of business organizations or become tax advisors, and auditors at a certified level
